Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System map evolution DRAFT

The map of the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System changes over time as new lands are added to the ecopark system. The map below shows the changes to the map since its first incarnation, in the Cootes to Escarpment Park System Conservation and Land Management Strategy (2009).

These changes include:

1) Additional lands that were designated as part of the ecopark system in June 2013 when the partners formally created the ecopark system via a Memorandum of Understanding. These are shown in yellow on the map below.

2) Lands that were added to the ecopark system in 2013 and 2014 through land securement (donation, purchase, or conservation easement). These are shown in the two shades of blue on the map below. For more information, please see the New Lands Protected page on this website.
