The Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System is a collaborative initiative of nine local government and non-profit organizations in the Burlington-Hamilton area, at the southwestern end of Lake Ontario. Together, these partner organizations own or manage more than 1,900 hectares (4,800 acres) of ecopark system lands, and are working together to protect, connect and restore these natural lands and to deliver sustainable recreation and education opportunities.
